Going-there has been lucky to have many excellent Destination Consultants who have worked with the company for long periods of time. They have brought energy, enthusiasm, imagination and compassion to their roles in helping relocating families and truly are the foundation of the Going-there quality service.

Few, however, have been more versatile than Marie-Helene Peeters. Marie-Helene first joined the company as a DC for Houston in 2008. Since then, she has relocated twice. As a result, she now holds the record for being a DC in the most cities - Houston, Paris and now Hong Kong.

Marie-Helene is a true citizen of the world: she was born in Kigali, Rwanda and spent the first 18 years of her life in the country before moving to Belgium to study for a degree in marketing. Her expatriate experience did not stop there. Following her marriage she spent 20 years as an accompanying spouse, moving to a contrasting range of cultures and cities including New York, Los Angeles, The Netherlands, Chile, Abu Dhabi, Houston and Paris.  As a result of her travels, Marie-Helene is fluent in French, Dutch, English and Spanish. 

It was while based in Houston for eight years that Marie-Helene first began working as a Destination Consultant.  Having relocated herself with a family of five so many times, her first-hand experience soon proved invaluable to her assignees and on settling next in Paris and then Hong Kong, she simply transferred her skills to her new location.
